The most recent project was a large business acquisition, in which Jo was the HR lead. When transferring 150 employees from an acquired business to a new business, HR is a key function. Jo demonstrated a clear and defined leadership style, where confident decisions were made and communicated effectively. This supported by excellent organisational skills, helped the induction team deliver one of the best acquisition integration processes the company has experienced.
Jo has good business acumen and is able to analyse situations and assess what can legally be implemented. Recommending and applying solutions that fit the people and business need.
I have also worked with Jo on the implementation of a Schedule and Attendance Management system into 1700 stores to which Jo contributed to the creation of the policy to support the new process and was a key contributor to the creation of a training programme that cascaded to 10,000 employees.
